I usually just hold my son with he’s back straight and pat him somewhat hard but not to hard and he tends to do a really loud/big burp and smiles afterwards to say he’s relieved 😂😭

what works for me is lay the baby on your forearm belly down,head in the palm of your hand about 45° up so he's not flat and walk a little,do a couple backrubs if you feel like it doesn't work but slight up and down movements will do it,just need to be patient as it doesn't happen instantly sometimes😅👍
