this is the reason I started watching the show! I was a fan of the movie and didn't think the show was going to be as "fun" (boy was I wrong), but when I heard there was a gay character I had to start watching and became instantly hooked ❤️

I was in high school 45 minutes away when Matthew Shepard was murdered. That instilled so much fear for me personally… then this season made me felt safe in a subdued way. I cry every time thank you for this!

Buffy the vampire slayer is in my opinion the greatest show ever created, literally it's one of those shows I can watch over and over again and just never get sick of. I know some fans don't like certain seasons and certain episodes but in my opinion every episode and every season is perfect in its own way (yes obviously some episodes/ seasons are better than others but I think it's all perfect) I love literally everything about the show (I don't like Xander and Warren tho ngl). weirdly tho I've seen Buffy the vampire slayer like a million times and I own all seven seasons but I've never seen Angel, I think I should watch it during my next buffy rewatch. ❤️love your videos, HAPPY PRIDE! 🏳️🌈🎉

I have taught classes on american television and how it plays into our own culture and ALWAYS mention Willow and Tara were the first lesbian kiss on television. Friends had tried to do it the previous season with Ross's ex wife's gay wedding. but the network balked and they cut the scene.
