My son is almost 3 and still have him face me.. I can’t imagine facing him out! I still love seeing his reactions to what we’re seeing! I want to cry even thinking about him being too big for the stroller some day so I’ll keep him towards me for as long as possible

Once my baby could sit up on his own I turned him. Our walks were so much more peaceful and he was less fussy when he was able to look at everything. He’s a big fomo baby though. So he doesn’t like to miss anything and loves looking around!

We switched at around 13m. Although I lived talking to her directly (we still do- but it is not the same)- I felt it was more important to “feed” her curiosity. She is so observant and it is so nice to talk about all the things she see. It grows her vocabulary and for us it was far more interesting than just face time with her. Also there was a trick with putting her to nap so it was a win win in every possible way😂

When we’re in stores, he faces me so I can talk about what I’m doing & grabbing. When we’re outside, I forward face him to see all the pretty nature!

I forward faced my son when he was 7 months old because he was frustrated in the stroller and wanted me to pick him up constantly, i figured he wanted to explore and look around and i blocked the view 😆When i forwarded the seat he loved sitting in the stroller and we were both happy during walks.

My baby is almost 6 months and he is facing the other way, he loves to wonder and helps him to sleep better. He was getting tired of seeing my face all the time 🤣

When they can sit on their own, so 6 months or so and even after that they need to face you if they are eating a snack! And for the love of god, always make sure the sun isn’t shining in their eyes! ❤️😂
