I remember reading Animal Farm in highschool and being one of very few students in the classroom to understand/care about what it was trying to warm the reader of. My Eng. Teacher and I shared a lot of concerned looks while my peers ignored everything bc it was "too early"

this book is both about humans as humans are withing the book were actually a part of the "animals" right as pigs but animals recognizes that humans are nothing like animals. also ofc the obvious message is that this is about society and the lies. but most definitely even when u read the book is the empathy you feel towards the animals in the farm that have been mistreated by the farmer himself. which throughout the whole book it always criticises humans. a animal had to be picked an it was pigs. but it's in the short term that ; even though you may think that humans are a part of our family of animals they are not
