Only need a drop or two of dawn. It breaks the surface tension of the vinegar, so they drown. Don't even need to mix it. Just Apple Cidar vinegar, 2-3 drops of dawn, and you're set. Works flawlessly.

Also...they're drain flies...they breed in your drain...bring a big pot of water to a boil...pour it down drain...repeat for a few days then a couple of times a week...using both the bowl and the boiling water works wonders 🤗

You also add a teaspoon of sugar and a little water. It only takes 1 or 2 drops of soap. It disrupts the surface tension of the water so when gnats land on it to eat they sink and die. It doesn’t take much soap. The vinegar and sugar are the lures.

i just use 50/50 water and vinegar and a couple of drops of dish soap. also u can take a bottle. put banana peelings in it and make a funnel with paper. also works as a non-leathal trap if u wanna go that route 😅

I used a bottle cut and put the top in used vinegar, soap and some honey and a little water pit in the bottom of the bottle and caught the bugs!!

you can also keep your fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator. the maggots won't hatch in there, just make sure you throw the remains outside immediately. no more gnats and fruit flies.

piece of. fruit,acv plastic over top, poke holes in top. I use an 8 oz jelly jar. I have tried almost everything. this trap is amazing. find 4 to five on anything else, this makes a huge difference.
