Morton/Leclerc ⚭ :
iThe bathroom was quiet, filled only with the soft sounds of water and the rustle of steam. Morton knelt by the tub, sleeves rolled up, their touch gentle as they poured warm water over Ganji’s back. Ganji, eyes half-closed, leaned into the care without a word. His usual bravado had slipped away, replaced by a calm he only found with Morton.
“You always know what I need,” he murmured.
Morton smiled, brushing a soap bubble from his cheek. “I’m always listening.”
Their hands moved with care, washing away the day’s weight in silence. Ganji tilted his head back to rest on Morton’s knee, a quiet grin forming.
“If this is what bath time’s like,” he said, “I should get dirty more often.”
Morton laughed softly. “Then I’ll start scrubbing your mouth next.”
Laughter echoed gently between them, warm and full. In the steam and stillness, love spoke loud enough.
