But I come from those who did—and I’ll never forget that. We are not criminals. We are human. We are families, students, workers, and dreamers. And if you think it’s just “criminals” being taken—you’re not paying attention. It’s KIDS. it’s HIGH SCHOOLERS. It’s people showing up to COURT hearings and WORK trying to do things the right way! This country was built on immigrants. These are the people who make our communities strong. Who make our schools, our homes, our businesses run. You don’t get to pick and choose when our culture is good enough for your playlist or your plate. It’s good enough to be protected too.
