@crcarpentryremodeling: Simple way to install an exterior door. Installing an exterior door can be tricky—especially if the floor isn’t level or the framing is out of plumb. But having the right tools for the job makes it much easier- like these from @dewalttough, especially the construction jack. Here are a few quick tips that will also make the job smoother: Start with the sill – Make sure it’s level and solid. Use shims or a sill pan if needed. Dry fit the door – Check for gaps and test swing before securing anything. Plumb the hinge side first – This locks in your reference. Use screws, not just nails – Especially through the hinge jamb into studs. Foam and seal – Keep it airtight and watertight once everything is locked in. #remodel #construction #contractor #DIY #carpenter #dewalttough #ad

Then you don't even put a threshold support under the threshold. Good job!!

Should have built support under the front side of the threshold while you had the door out. The problem is still there, but now it's covered with a new door to be ruined again
