I hate how English has invaded several languages and yet when I say it in the English pronunciation they’re all looking funny at me?? Definitely makes me want to leave just cause I hate the effort to have someone understand me😭

Whenever I speak in french or tagalog and an English word comes up, I just say it in an English accent. Like i’d be like “Naglalaro ako ng 𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪 𝓯𝓲𝓿𝓮”

It’s so off putting because 1. You literally have to fight decades of learning to pronounce it correctly and 2. The correct pronunciation sounds EXACTLY like how someone trying to make fun of a Japanese accent would sound
