it really helps that your grammar is really good. I've taught many Germans, and you don't make the common mistakes that I see even advanced speakers make. once you work on reducing that T sound a bit more, the schwa sound,and working on the dark American L sound, your accent will be flawless

Baaarely a German accent. I can barely tell even when I'm looking for it. Wouldn't think anything was off if I didn't know beforehand to listen for it. Original American stock is Anglo/Germanic anyway so welcome to the New World lol

I think the things that still sound not fully American is that you don’t make your s’s sound into Z’s like in yearz like Americans do. Your /r/ isn’t as back of the mouth as Americans and when paired w vowels it’s more noticeable.

You definitely sound like you are from the US. I would just say the thing that you might find as “off” just sounds like a southern drag. What i mean by that is some words you say, you say them fairly long which is definitely a southern thing. The north usually talks faster
