Did you know that if get hurt at work and they can show you worked unsafe in video aka wearing even just 1 ear bud your whole workmen’s comp case will be dropped. I have an ex co worker who got hurt and she lost in court over wearing an ear bud.

At our store when a song is playing and then there’s a page on the intercom the radio doesn’t come back on for like 30 seconds and now we can barely hear it like are Store Manager, said they can trust him with a $200 million store but they can’t trust him to control the volume of the radio 🙄

Honestly this policy is outdated everywhere everyone is connected to their phone almost 24/7 now we need one earbud I’m not for music or podcasts but for texts and phone calls emails etc some of us are busy and can’t jus survive off a Walmart salary then them telling you no earbuds is wild how bout no ear bud pay

I don't get the earbud thing... I was at Walmart for 9 years. 5 at a NHM, 4 at an academy supercenter with an OPD MFC. You can 1000% hear customers with just 1 in. As a DM them TL, I absolutely had an ear bud underneath my ear piece 🤣🤣🤣
