Have you had Loco Moco?! 🌴🌺🌊 Loco Moco is a classic Hawaiian comfort food dish. This recipe makes 3 servings, so you can eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner — or don’t. 👩🏻‍🍳 Ingredients Beef Patty// 1lb ground beef Salt & Pepper Garlic powder Onion powder 1tbsp of worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup Japanese breadcrumbs (aka Panko) 2 tbsp butter Gravy// 2 cups beef broth 2 tsp worcestershire sauce 2tbsp cornstarch 2tbsp water 1/2 yellow onion 1 box of mushrooms, sliced 2tbsp butter 2 cups rice 3 eggs 3tbsp of green onion, chopped Step-by-step✨ Mix ground beef with seasonings Add in panko and use your hands to massage everything together Roll into fist sized balls and flatten with palms Heat on medium and cook the patties with butter until each side is nice and crisp In another pan, add 1 tbsp of butter and crack the eggs on medium Then switch to low/ medium heat until the egg whites are no longer trasnparent and the yolk is runny but not spilling onto the egg whites In a sauce pan, sautee onions and mushrooms with butter until onions are translucent and mushrooms are browned Add beef brother and worcestershire sauce Once it boils bring it down to a simmer and let it bubble Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry and pour into the broth to thicken into a gravy Once it reduces to a shiny and thick sauce, turn the heat off Layer rice, beef patty, thick gravy, and fried egg.
