Don’t use box dye!! Use direct dye it does minimal to no damage. Arctic Fox is a good purple but after a few washes in the light it’s like a purple but slightly red. I think it’ll be exactly what your looking for

Purple af mixed with ion neon purple worked for me my hair was a dark light ish brown when I first did it and then I recently dyed my hair blue black didn’t like it and went over it with the purple mix and it worked pretty darn good

X mondo hair semi permanent hair dye in purple or iro iro purple 20, you’ll need to dye it every 2 weeks to a months bcs both of these r semi permanent but that’s less damaging, I’m doing this exact thing tmr

I just use direct pigments, it doesn’t last as long but it doesn’t damage my hair. I recommend crazy color. And try mixing purple and Bordeaux color

I use Merlot strawberry leopard semipermanent dye over my natural brown to get a deep garnet shade. then the day after I use doo gro revitalizer hair mask (the blue one!) for 45 min. it has urea so it makes your hair real soft and repaired.

Yes, but only use 20 volume nothing higher and still take good care of it. Anytime you dye your hair. You always have to keep up with the hair care and only use depositing color after the first round of lifting to this red you do not need to put any more high color or even bleach to maintain this really
