To all of you who say „get a second cat“. Yes but: I have 2 cats and they‘re sibling so they get along very well. But one of them still wants to be around me everytime. She is sad whenever I‘m not around and she is very clingy (and she will be even more clingy in the future). 2 cats is not the solution. Not always.

Everyone sending hate are so out of touch. This cat is an extremely well taken care off, you can tell and, also, those who suggest getting another one. Not only another kitty is very expensive but some animals do not vibe with other animals. I had to stop fostering kittens after I got my last, she has always been a handful since a kitty and she simply DO not get along with others. I gave up fostering because she would get extremely violent. She's very possessive over me and would ever break my plants of she sees me paying them attention 😅 she has been like this since I found her with 10 days old.

Please please please tag off the AirTag !!! I know someone who had the exact same style and myself also had the same off Amazon. It may seem convenient to be able to track your cat but all it takes is for one thread to come loose/faulty collar for the AirTag to fall out. AirTags are incredibly toxic and if kitty plays with it he will die. Coming from someone who has had first hand experience 😭

My cat used to do this. A couple of times I went to the bathroom but she thought I’d left, and I heard her cry 💔 Covid lockdowns were amazing for her. When I returned to the office a couple of days a a week once that all ended, I used to spend some time saying good bye in the morning and peppering her with kisses until she was like “oh man, just leaaaave.” 😂

Why are so many of the comments accusing you of being a bad owner?? You're a wonderful one. The cat is safe, obviously sees you as family.. People love hating on people who are just normal pet owners. My cat used to be an outside cat, but once I adopted him he is inside most of the time. I do take him out for walks in his harness or put him in his cat enclosure, but I definitely don't want him freely running around the neighborhood.

it's when I realized she was obviously waiting for me all day long sleeping behind the door with her fav plush that I decided to adopt another cat. huge change for me but this situation can't be and I will adopt a husband too if needed, she is the love of my life no way her spending her life waiting for me worringly.
