My mum constantly says to me “well you could have left at any point” or “you must have known you was going to get divorced” she just doesn’t get it and no matter how much I explain the control and the manipulation falls on deaf ears. And that’s hard because I love my mum so much but she just doesn’t get iy

she survived cos she is a fighter! I felt the shame when I fled, what will people think! what have I bought to my family... The lies I told, sitting in hospitals having operations cos the beatings. Mumma never gave up though x

Mel I totally get it up n left a dvd relationship 300 miles away from everyone in know to be put into hiding ..to now having hone through dv abuse again for 24 yrs broken but getting there still 8 months later.... we will get there to everyone in this horrible cycle please if your gut tells yu something is not right..please carefully leave..yu can do this 😪🥰
