Segregate your network (keep all of your important devices on one secured WiFi IP) Change all of your passwords on all accounts. Find a device that can have multi factor authentication enabled and keep it off your other device network.

We are definitely being monitored. before I tell you what happened, let me give you a little context: I have a deviated septum so I sleep with a breathing strip on my nose. That means that when I'm in bed at night and I'm scrolling on my phone, I am laying here wearing a nose strip, but I do not leave the house with the nose strip and I don't have any photos on social media of me with a nose strip. Anyway, about a week ago I was using AI to create a funny picture of me. I said "make me a cat". Imagine my shock when it populated a photo of me wearing a nose strip dressed in a cat costume. My jaw dropped. I gave the prompt again and again it created a photo of me wearing a nose strip. I asked if it was watching me because it did that and then it tried to gaslight me by saying it wasn't capable of creating photos and it didn't put a nose strip on me, but asked me why I wear a nose strip. 😳

So scary.. sorry yall went through that. Def believe you both! Always factory reset these devices when new and change any default passwords immediately to something unique and strong for the app logins, as long as they stay the same you are vulnerable. Also enable 2FA on all devices when possible.

I got a government phone about 5 years ago. One night, after I had it for about two months, I was scrolling, turned it off, turned my lights off, laid down and I heard a man's voice say, "I can't see anything, she turned the lights off" I FREAKED. TF. OUT!! Everyone I tell thinks I'm crazy, but I promise with my whole being, I heard that exact sentence!! I was alone in my room. nobody else was living with me! I went the next day and took money I was saving, and got another phone!! And threw that MF in the trash!

A couple of weeks ago my husband & I were talking on the phone. During our conversation, at the same time, we both heard what sounded like a pre-recorded message saying "This call is being recorded." We confirmed we both heard it and hung up immediately! Scary!

There was a huge issue a few years back with baby cameras being hacked. You aren’t crazy, it is doable. I got rid of all of those devices when that news came out.

The closest thing I can compare this to is when I was sitting on my couch just scrolling on my phone, no tv, no company, my volume wasn’t very loud at all on my phone and my Google (with a display screen) said something that I didn’t understand at first, so I asked her to repeat what she just said, and she said “would you like me to find more information on wiring a cable through a ceiling?” I still have no explanation for it.

I saw a TikTok of a lady saying she saw a man’s face on her phone once watching her. 😳😳😳 She had it charging and his face just showed up. When she ran off he told her to come back. I don’t trust any device anymore. They are all capable of spying on you.

Alexa has “drop in” video calling but it only works for contacts that have permission to do so. Check your contacts and see who has permission to drop in!!
