While hitting abs and eating right is important, the main reason why they all looked so good on the swimsuit walk way was probably due to makeup on their stomachs which made them look more toned (just my guess)

You need spinal flexion to increase ab size. If not you are mostly just getting stronger not actually growing the abs. Also 99% of people just need to be in a calorie deficit to lose body fat to reveal the abs
