It is its own style…it’s the Gekidan Inu Curry groups art style. They’re an animation group and have worked in very popular projects both before and after PMMM. It’s not “watered down” just bc a bunch of people outside of Japan aren’t familiar with the group/don’t engage with other projects the group has done and know it bc of a world wide popular show. That’s actually a good thing for them.

yeah because most people have only seen madoka magica. so their brain automatically goes: oh a style that looks like madoka magica! so it must be that! i’m not saying it’s a good thing, i think it should be more appreciated, but it’s still good just to yk, keep in consideration that most people don’t branch out and do more research.

It’s all very collage-y which I love! I think madoka magica used it beautifully, and am happy more people are appreciating and getting into it because of Madoka Magica ( and that one current trend!) bc it’s so fun to do and ridiculously easy to get into!
