My entire life! We would come home from the houseboat and i couldn’t sleep that night because -what if???- what if one of my kids would have gotten bitten by a snake or a gator or drowned! Omg what was I thinking bringing my kids out there!!! Craziness! They are home sleeping peacefully and worn out from the fun!

keep a note pad on side of your bed with a pen & jot all the intrusive thoughts & tell yourself you'll deal with it in the morning
