this is an interesting take. over complicating the idea that ego death occures when one is of the mind that they are a singular entity having made up everything in the universe to not be alone. It is frightening to be that alone. Hense "acceptance".

I think ego is a manifestation of the world, and our time spent living in it. It is a fabrication of your personal lived experience in life. And the problem with ego is it seeks routine within itself, aka getting stuck in what it knows. To get rid of ego, means to expel that routine and learn as a toddler would, seeing the world as if it’s all new. “Ego death” is when that new never goes away, and you can live your life in peace, because every day is a new blessing through your eyes and soul.

If ego’s an illusion, how do you know what you’re ‘seeing through’ 🤔? It’s like looking through smoke. I find most ‘identities’ or ego is built by how people perceive you and your response just builds a self-fulfilling archetype to navigate society.

ego must certainly is real! we need our ego to teach us how to navigate through life by showing us things about ourselves that need to be balanced the ego needs to be tamed. there is always ego.
