I believe that burning flags, whether of a country or a group, is disrespectful. I understand that this country hasn't been that great historically. But I don't understand these lazy people who go around disrespecting us. Remember that flags are sacred things; that's what must be respected! If it were our countries' flags, we wouldn't like it.

We are supposed to be a Direct Democracy Government. We are the people is what makes the government. Remember the preamble people!! We are the government, we the people. The ideas of popular sovereignty are clear in the opening phrase of the Preamble to the Constitution where it says “We the People.” The framers made it clear that the power of the government comes from the people themselves.
