this hurts a lot, my ex bf was an avoidant, he feels overwhelmed by my emotions, he feels I'm always trying to argue. he didn't see anything wrong with his actions kahit naiinvalidate na ko and wondering if there's something wrong with me.

Maybe, you have signs of having that attachment style pero not necessarily na you have that. Hindi porket may behavior ka na, you want to have assurance/reassurance of everything, eh may ganyang attachment style ka na. It is not like that, attachment styles are complex and your history from your childhood has a big role kung bakit ka ganyan.
