well lucky for him because when I was struck by lightning NOT standing in a lake/river/pond ,I was thrown 15 feet from where I was standing and knocked unconscious with a stage 2 concussion and woke in the hospital days after the incident. also not to mention all the physical health problems it caused me along with 1 yr physical therapy and 20 yrs later I still have physical issues and now internal issues happening with my heart, liver and kidneys. there was 4 of us that day and 1 who died on the spot because it exploded his heart and the other 3 are having almost the same issues I am. so consider this fellow in the video lucky

my brother was struck by lightning twice. once it knocked him off his feet, but he didn't fall. the next time it knocked him down. two different times. he was ok, both times. but he passed in a car wreck at 20 y.o.😥

That is static charge from the lightning, not actually struck by the lightning

who goes fishing in the frickin rain with it lighting?....come on catching fish is not that necessary. I would say hope he thinks twice before doing that again but I doubt it he is stupid enough to do it

He didn't get struck by lightnING. That was static in the from the lightning that was close. If he'd got struck the lightning strike and thunder would have been instantaneous. You notice the thunder was noticeably after the strike.

It was just the atmospheric static electricity that he felt the reason why the other guy didn’t feel it. He was more insulated not holding a long rod with metal. Yes, he was holding a net must not have been conductive enough believe me one time he would not be here but twice He would not be here to be buried. If you know you know.
