If you grease the slide pins and contact points on the pads and the parts are correct they will not squeal if they are squealing look at your quality of work

Aftermarket pads squeal because there is a coating on them. To get it off you have to brandish the breaks, so take a roadtest, and hit the breaks hard

Been doing my own brakes for 15 years and have only ever used aftermarket parts. The only time they've squealed was when I wore the pads down to the tattle tale

Almost all brakes will squeal if they aren’t installed properly, sometimes aftermarket pads require some sort of break-in procedure, if not followed they will squeal

lol no they won't. Factory stuff is a complete rip off . 99.99٪ of the time AM is just fine and 3x the warranty

2 sets of oem vw rear brakes were metal on metal after 18,000 and 19,000 miles. Currently at 44k miles on cheap amazon pads and rotors. Same driver, same daily commute.
