When i was postpartum, I cleaned my house from top to bottom because my mil was coming and she had nothing to complain about so she complained that we had dirt inside of our vacuum & complain that I woke my baby up to feed him before I went to sleep so I could catch a couple hours of sleep because he was only a month old. I could really do without a mil. Thank God, she’s not in our life.

I was once told to leave a plate and a fork and one mug in the sink and when they get there say “oh I’m so sorry I haven’t had time to clean up yet” and quickly wash those dishes so they ~think~ that’s your house messy

I did this the first time my mom came to visit after moving out. I cleaned E V E R Y T H I N G😅 She complimented my home so a lot and said she was proud of me so it was worth it!

omg the hand scrubbing? you can get an inexpensive pressure washer off amazon that isn’t too harsh (it has different levels) and spray that off!!! will save you so much time. it’s honestly a life saver for siding (just make sure you use a lighter setting!!)
