we need to make it normal to start recording our interactions with medical personnel. they gaslight us all the time. I was in the emergency room for a bacterial infection. they made me stay in the hospital for three days but then label me as a drug addict because I have a medical card. and that is why I was throwing up not the bacterial infection i had in my stomach.

I NEED TO KNOW which was worse! I broke my leg in 5 places- twist fracture and someone said “it can’t be as bad as natural birth” so I was gonna try natural birth but ended up in Csec. Bone was worse than C section. But I’m curious compared to natural birth bc that shit HURT

I had to walk on a broken foot because they gaslit me and told me I was exaggerating. 4 weeks later I go to specialist and they can’t believe I walked on it for 4 weeks because I LITERALLY broke my foot in half.

ortho doctors are the WORST. I went to one after recurring knee dislocations and even though he ordered an MRI, he didn't look at it and just said it didn't look like I'd ever dislocated my knee and to come back when it happened THREE OR FOUR MORE TIMES. I left and cried on the way home. I found another doc who took me seriously and was super kind, but that first doctor crushed my spirit a little bit

No freaking way that is awful. I broke my humerus last year. Really similar. They reset it the day I broke it and sedated me. AND my ortho had a goal to NOT put me through surgery because it’s so risky to operate on that break because of the nerves that are in the way. I cannot believe this.
