it honestly wasn’t that bad, only had to put at most 30 pts into in on top of starting stats so only around 10-20 actual levels in. Also it only partially helped iframes, not completely controlling it

adp would’ve been fine if you started with minimum 9ish i frames so that lighter builds could spec into it and get more and tankier builds didn’t waste on something that doesn’t matter much too them

I mean I don’t think it’s a necessarily a bad idea on paper, just the way it was implemented meant you to had to dump a ton of points into ADP for your i-frames to actually match up with the animation

i’ve played all the games and ngl it really wasn’t that bad when you can level up extremely fast and it only needs a few points and doesn’t really impact your final build stats at all by the end of the game

I beat DS2 without leveling ADP. I just ran FULL +5 Havel armor along with his shield and dragon tooth. I was literally an unkillable monster 🙏

I feel like they could do it closer to Nightreign where lighter characters have better rolls “on a spectrum” rather than fast/medium/fat. I do like the idea of being able to scale somehow to dodge like the Duchess
