I think the ,,signs" part might have been unintentional or at least not in original. In the books Witcher Signs are ,,Znaki" and in polish Sign Language is ,, Język Migowy". Maybe English translators did it on purpose tho

Does it mean, that in all sing languages, the alphabet is signed in the same way? I am asking, because it's a polish game; I'd assume that Geral would sign in PJM (polish sign language-polski język migowy). 🤷♂️
