Stay in Mürren - lots of hikes, waterfalls, & villages to explore nearby. It’s a carless village so it’s quiet. Enjoy the bells ringing from the cows in the pastures & endless songs sung by the birds.

Going to Switzerland this August as well! From what I’ve researched it seems like Lucerne, Interlaken and Zermatt are all great bases! Day trips to Grindelwald, Lauterburren and Mürren are totally doable. For hikes the two I’m looking forward to the most are to Lake Oschineese & Stoos Ridge!!!

I’ve been twice but only during winter, Zermatt, Interlaken & Lucerne are amazing! Have so much fun!
