6 months in to mine. The steroid shot made it worse. My dr reacted the same when I mentioned perimenopause. They suggested diabetes, insurance denied the test, but I’m sure that’s not correct anyhow. Worst pain ever. Doing my own pt and started on collagen peptides.

Does anyone feel the pain down their arm and almost like through it?

49 not in perimenopause yet … 8 months in 2 cortisone shots and MUA surgery done six weeks ago. PT is now finally working a bit, cupping and pushing through the pain! You got this ♥️

Just wait until you have one side frozen for more than a year and it begins to thaw and then your other side starts to freeze. It’s just great. Superb.

Last year my left shoulder, agree pt was ok, but nothing thawed it until ultra sound high volume injection. Now I have it on my right, yeaaay! Told dr I’ll skip the pt and scheduled for a shot in a few weeks.

Going in next week for sedated manipulation on mine. Several friends have done this and it’s aggressive, but it worked immediately along with PT after. Mine was definitely due to hormonal estrogen imbalance.

The injection was horrible! But let me tell you it fixed the pain and I was finally able to sleep at night. I’m finishing 8 wks of PT and it’s moving a lot more than it was but still not fixed. Guess I’ll just have to hope for the day I wake up without it.

I am in month 7. I have done the injections including the balloon one with the steroid. So painful. I have never experienced anything more painful in my life and I have had kids. I am so over this.

Mine was awful and PT did not help at all. But I tripped over my own feet one day and tried to catch my fall with my frozen side. I almost passed out from the pain but it fixed my frozen shoulder. 😂😂😂

well I'm 37 and currently thawing from a frozen shoulder so..... PT and injection didnt help. changing up PT treatment because current PT is aggravating it more. Also dealing with tennis elbow same arm. 😩 perimenopause thing strongly wondering because I had shingles at 35!

In 2019 I had frozen shoulder in my left shoulder, went to PT they gave me some exercises to do that didn't help. It took over a year before it got better. About 4 months ago I went to doctor with my elbow killing me, was told its arthritis, gave me medication... it has gone up to my right shoulder now and I know its frozen shoulder 😫 so now I have experienced frozen shoulder in both of mine.

I’m 50 frozen. Not the way I wanted to enter my 50s. Dr said no scientific evidence it’s hormone related. 🤔😳🙄

Yesssss 43 and oof it’s SO bad! PT got it a tiny bit looser but not much. Finally gave in and got the injection. It did lessen the throbbing/radiating/😭 pain! Worked for 3 months and just got another.

3.5 YEARS! ugh. Tried all of the things! I’m 90% pain-free but still do not have my mobility. Not one doctor mentioned low estrogen. I brought it up and now I’m on HRT. I wouldn’t hesitate to get the shot. That helped. A lot! But I waited too long.

Ugh same! I’m on month 4, didn’t know what it was but went to the doctor yesterday and got a cortisone shot. So far hasn’t helped but going back in 4 weeks. Worst pain I’ve had.
