DJ has got to read the room. If it’s a boring game and the crowd is dead then go for it. But if the crowd is hyped and into the game, we shouldnt be competing with the PA blasting music and “TIME TO START CLAPPINGGGG” shit after every pitch. Was there for the Mets series the other week and it was literally drowning out the fans chanting

The problem is random sounds not actually utilizing music and trends to engage the fans. It also shouldn’t be every pitch but I do think baseball needs to do better with fan engagement
