Tech change but i dont think everyone will just shift to OpenAI to do their search. U havent factored in human habits. For more than 2 decades we’ve created a habit to use Google, when u search for something people have ‘Options’ to choose from. You take that away and people will move elsewhere. Also, Google is not just a big giant search engine, its a huge database filled with ‘relevant’ information that provide the user. It will take OpenAI before it can catch up to Google. The countless algorithm changes, the integration of AI into their search, personal custom search and recently they added AI Agents into their search.
