It’s super important. It shows how Norway and Sweden can operate togheter and tighter. Also, I believe it’s the first C-130J landing on a highway. Only one of the pilots was non-Norwegian. The American was an exchange pilot, but an integrated part of the squadron. Also, the crew is Norwegian, the pilot isn’t the only part of the crew.

The plane was Norwegian, the road Swedish and behind the lever sat an American major stationed in Norway. The co-pilot was Norwegian. Norwegian pilots with F35 have trained in the same way before in Finland.

A Norwegian C-130J, American pilot stationed in Norway, the Co-Pilot is Norwegian and they are landing in part of a joint exercise. The Norwegian pilot was most likely sitting in a jumpseat behind them.

Thats flygbas 90. A series of cold war era air force bases hidden in plain sight. The runway was painted to match our higways and then connected to the public road network

? whats weird ? Swedish roads are built for landing planes and now that their part of Nato ofc we train on landing there and the first time we do it ofc we have an American pilot to do it first!!!!! safety first my friend 😉
