Was coming out of anesthesia after getting my wisdom teeth removed and asked my mom if I was ugly now. She said of course not so I immediately turned to my dad and said “I know you won’t lie, am I ugly now?”

when I woke up from my wisdom teeth, my husband was my ride but I kept crying for him, so the whole 2hr ride home he kept saying "we're going to him" only for him.to walk into the house, back out and I was like "HONEY 😃, you LEFT me with a stranger"

I woke up from my tonsillectomy, the nurse asked how I was feeling. My bf said apparently I frowned like the emoji (☹️) and said "My throat hurts. what'd you do that for?" as if it was his fault

When i woke up from my appendix being removed. the guy pushing the bed said my husband should be in the waiting room. i apparently told him he better not be he has little demons at home to be taking care of not bothering me on vacation. .

i BEGGED my best friend to take me to wendys for a frosty after my wisdom teeth were out. cried when i got there and they werent open yet. she took me home and got me settled in bed with my guase in my mouthband everything. when i woke back up she had gone to get my frosty and put it in the freezer for me.

After surgery the nurses said I didn’t speak a word but if someone disturbed me by making a noise, I would open my eyes and give them the filthiest glare. Apparently I had the nurses giggling all evening 😅

When I came off of anesthesia and they were wheel me to the car, I said I got this in the proceeded to take one step before completely face planting into the backseat. The dentist said I must’ve been a fun drunk because I still tried to climb into the seat by myself and refused help

After my gallbladder surgery I asked for a bowl form Panda Express, they told me no. I asked for chicken nuggets, same answer. I told the nurse “tell the doctor and everyone inside they hurt my feelings and we’re not best friends anymore” 😭

when i woke up from my wisdom teeth surgery the nurse saw me open my eyes and then close them again because i was tired and made a silly comment about someone fighting being awake so i immediately forced myself to wake up and stood up as fast as i could when she told me to do it slowly. idk why but i had to prove her wrong with everything she said 💀

All my surgeries were as an adult so I never got the chance to trash talk my stepdad but I did trash talk the nurse (she was actually really nice) bc why are you going over post-op info with me when I'm trying to remember how to breath 😭 Immediately after I woke up, I retained nothing.

I woke up from anesthesia crying and saying sorry. Then I dead pan went “why am I crying?” and the nurse said “I have no idea” 😭

I was SOOOO scared before my surgery because I had a previous bad experience with anesthesia, so the anesthesiologist was walking me through my anxiety. (He was very sweet.) I wasn’t even counted down going under. I blinked and SPAWNED in the recovery room. I don’t remember but just PROFUSELY thanking the anesthesiologist for being so great and kind and awesome.
