Hardest union to get into lmao. I tried already twice to put in an application. You need to be ready at exactly 7:59 am to do an application if you’re not fast enough the website will just crash and say they have reached their application limit.

Here’s a tip guys join labors and whenever there’s a chance jump on the machines and learn it. Become good at that shit and if you’re good enough the company can get you in. Not every operator will let you touch their machines but there is a lot of cool ones.

I worked as a foreman for a union and got 32 starting and after 5 years i would have been mid 50s but the main boss was insane I also was working 2 fulltime jobs. left after 6 months wished i did something like this instead

I dad retired like 10 years ago from local 12 in San Diego as a heavy equipment operator. He loved his job so much! He misses it all the time. Especially when he drives by a job site. I had a great childhood because of his job!
