Suction cups are not good they will ruin your dash and your window. It will leave permanent rings on your dash and anything else you stick it to

Only placement issue I’ve had is when your placement choice puts it in direct sunlight. I will loose suction in 100 plus degree interior temp. But dose stick to textured surfaces at average temp consistently
