I use yeast & brown sugar. Carbon dioxide lure ftw. Separate bucket next to the trap she showed. Add some grass clippings & a few drops of dish soap to her version of the bucket, stagnation lures them, dish soap breaks the surface tension, helps drown the larva & female adults. Last 2-4 weeks before needing a refresh. At the very least, the carbon dioxide bucket will lure them away from your active outdoor areas. One more added step ftw, toss an old shoe next to the bucket, protect it from rain, the body odor will attract the further.

The power lines run behind our house and the homes behind us. That area holds a ton of water. I am going to try this and I hope and pray it helps cuz I am swarmed in my garden, even when I am covered head to toe.
