@agriculture5639: Trying to find out which grows faster — hydroponics or soil? 🌱 We ran a simple experiment using turnip seedlings, giving both the exact same nutrients. After 2 weeks, the results are in — and you might be surprised! This test shows just how effective hydroponics can be for fast, clean, and efficient plant growth. #Hydroponics #SoilVsWater #PlantGrowth #GardeningExperiment #UrbanFarming #SustainableLiving #HomeGarden #HydroponicSystem #USAgardening #PlantTok #FarmingTips #EcoFriendly #GrowYourOwn #BackyardFarming #DIYGarden #ScienceExperiment
hydro may grow faster. but the taste and texture, is a diffrence as chalk and cheese.

OK so what is shown goes againts everything we learned, less water means roots stretch? Hydroponic means soil never dries, which is supposed to be a bad thing? So explain how! Must be the plant feeding. Cz if I grow in fertilizer n water compared to fish emultion wt fertilizer is same results as in video, so I think it's feeding n has nothing to do wt being hydroponic.

How do you know that both pots have exactly the same amount of nutrients? Was actual soil used or other medium?

but you put the hydroponic plants in soil resting in water, defeats the object

doing hydro like this, is there a risk for the plant to absorb some microplastic? genuine question.

Styrofoam is also bad for the water as it can build up in bad bacteria and mildew etc.

the plant on the soil was more green than the plant planted on water..

well it was appears that the hydroponic one had a slight advantage because of the additional soil and the fertilizer in the water compared to the other one who only had the soil

How many nutrients are we really able to understand and measure from the soil that we haven’t chemically or non-naturally added to the water.

But there's still soil. Tell me the differences. It's the one that's been given food and water that last. And the other was this put in soil and water, whenever you remembered or according to your schedule. The ones in the water got to drink when they wanted to. But soil is still there.
