I’ve been hypnotized before. It’s not magic. You know you’re up there. You’re not asleep. It’s the power of suggestion and WANTING to be hypnotized. If you don’t want to be hypnotized, it literally won’t work on you. But if you’re open it working then the power of suggestion will take over. It’s not real but it’s a mind game playing on the human brain and the power of the crowd. It’s as real as it can be

Hypnotist is a little different than people think, it takes concentration and relaxation to allow yourself to get that far, and even then if something is uncharacteristic of you then you will break out of it
