Yall really gotta stop thinking of them as enemies and start thinking of them as bundles of xp. That’s a 9th level enemy you can pretty easily kill with a 6th level party in hm as long as you have decent builds and know the encounter well

walked into this area once, died horribly, had to reload back an hour and a half into my save. safe to say i immediately add a custom marker to this spot that says “sudden death” and go nowhere near it

This caused my first death in my first playthrough. I saw the ambush and dived un with my owlbear druid. My party was not doing well, so I sacrificed myself to do an explosion chain reactiob to kill most of them leaving my party to deal with the strongest one. It was hell
