Hanging leg raises Hanging leg raises are great for shaping and strengthening the lower part of the abdominal muscles. Instruction • Stand in the simulator and press your back firmly in to the special support. Place your elbows on the supports, and grasp the handles with your hands. • Bend the knees slightly and secure them, then assume the hanging position. Raise your legs up as high as possible, contracting the abdominal muscles to their maximum point. • Slowly lower your legs to the starting position.
