Inception ripped off so many of paprika's scenes shot for shot and never credited it or it's creator in any official capacity. The director named it as an "inspiration", but it's hardly just inspiration if you copy the movie shot for shot.

Inception DID NOT copy paprika shots and I don’t even like inception, They are very generic and standard shots, the mirror shot are very alike but both make sense to the retrospective films as they are about entering dreams. The corridor scene is completely different as its gravity changes and spinning corridors in inception and praprika is a wavy corridor. They are similar but that is completely normal and not copying

So the director of Black Swan (Darren) begged the creator of Perfect Blue (Kon) to make an adaptation for YEARS, and when he couldn't get that permission, he created BS and it was released just a couple of months after the Kon died (1)

Some are a stretch. Some are not originally from animes but tropes from other places. Ghost in the Shell is just cyperpunk so it uses those genre tropes.

Also The Lion King is all stolen from an anime called Kimba the White Lion, all the characters and scenes look the exact same, and the Japanese production company couldn’t sue Disney
