Ofcourse we can co-exist ! We did so for hundreds of years before the British arrived successfully! It was Jinnah and his cohorts who sought to play into the hands of the British and divided us.

I mean India has for the longest time has proven that religions can coexist for the most part. There's always going to be small conflicts but on the over all picture Indians (Hindus mostly) have proven that you didn't need a second country based on religion to live together.

I'd disagree. I've lived nearly 20 years outside Pakistan and have many Indian connections. I have excellent relations with them. We can co-exist but only in separate spheres and as neighbours only. The day we try to become one, we have a serious ideological difference. The May 2025 Military fiasco proved it once again, both sides, yes the commoners took sides which were completely opposite. Most of Pakistani don't socially intermingle with Indians, as in, in family values, mutual household visits, food or under a joint social fabric. We neither intermarry and there is always a hesitance and nuance in culinary habits. Some can but most don't. I honestly think Muhammad Ali Jinnah got it right and my experience of 20 years took me back to 1947 being right.
