My parents and grandparents waited years, spent so much money, time & dedication to become legal, to see others cut the line and get benefits/handouts right away that they got waited listed for sucks. They also came for a better life just like everyone else🤷🏻♀️but they’re able to follow the US laws & rules

This is how a lot of us 1st generation Mexican Americans with immigrant parents feel. My dad used to tell me that he used to come in illegally to work & was deported 3 times. He knew it could happen & didn’t fight it. After the Reagan Amnesty deal, he was able to apply for citizenship & has been a proud citizen of this country for almost 40 years now.

What about those who are reporting to their immigration appointments and getting deported? I don’t think anyone disagrees that if you’re illegal you shouldn’t be held accountable I think what everyone is up in arms about are those that are being deported and they’re allowed to be here. Such as students with visas. Workers with visas, etc

Asian culture (accountability) opposite from black culture and everyone else (no accountability.) For example, if someone who looks like us brings shame, we shun them in our circle. In other groups, if someone brings shame, they say such and such doesn’t represent us…they seperate from the problem.

South America is land locked next door to USA so alot of crossing over by land is commonly known for years hence the flood of Mexicans. Asia had to fly over after years of hitting paperwork and sponsorships. Theb we bred. I dont think its about race. It's more human race and how ppl are being treated openly and in ICE jail, and the administration using power against the less fortunate, poor vs rich if we dig deeper. Why aren't we using these money on all the Intl stuff? America is a ticking time b*mb for enemies.

One thing Americans have to understand is that the US government does not grant permanent residency to poor uneducated immigrants! Why? Because they may become a burden to the social welfare system! Furthermore, poor immigrants don’t have the thousands of dollars to pay for the process or the time it takes to get a green card. At the end, their application could be denied! It can take up to 10 years to be approved. Kids are starving now! This is why they cross illegally!
