Hi Tina, I have a question. I have my story already planned, and I know that all the subplots I create should be connected to the main plot (also Chekhov's gun and so on). Is there a way to figure out before finishing the first draft how many subplots are fine, and how many are too much? I have few different versions but all of them are connected to the main plot and affect the climax. It means that if I see it's too dense I'll have to rewrite the book as a whole. Is there a way to define at early stage if the number of subplots and subelements leading to the climax is too high?
