Thank you for this… as a homeless DV survivor, it’s been so hard to join actual protests/rallies because shouting, loud noises, crowds, etc is so triggering. But I try to make up for my lack of physical presence by donating/advocacy through other avenues.

You can support locals who are protesting/local businesses that are impacted/social media etc. not everyone will be on the front lines during revolution and that’s ok everyone is important.

I think i need to stick with more peaceful/sanctioned protest bc i know if things get violent with cops i can not deal with guns, loud noises, etc i have too much trauma with that and it kinda bums me out

so remember youse all you are the resistance and that doesn't require your physical presence at rallies, fights, protests. it means you live your life resisting fascism, figure out how you can practice mutual aid with where you are in life. be persistent, but this is a marathon. every bit helps, even if that's baking cookies for your bros when they need that pick me up cause they got their ass kicked. we need all different types of support.

thank you for making this! I see a lot of people talk about not trusting those who don’t show out. As someone who’s student-age but is liable to pass out and would be stranded if someone tampered with my cane, I won’t be showing up in the streets. I don’t really know what the behind-the-scenes looks like or how to get into it, but I want to help.
