People don't know how AirBnB works, customers are not liable, all that happens is that the host can leave a review on their profile. As an AirBnB host, you can opt in or out of purchasing AirCover (insurance), if they opt in, any damages, cleaning fees etc etc are covered by AirBnB, if they opt out, they take full responsibility for all damages to the property. So if you don't have it, it's your own fault.
