This is like a really extremely hidden detail on how Lois is right now as a mother herself with her kids, especially Meg even married to a really bad husband that makes her even more stressed out every day and has to clean up the mess. She completely deserves a better life without any of that problems, especially if she was treated right in her childhood. She would've never ended up as a really bad person like her father.

one thing family guy does super well is portay the cycle of abuse the abusee becomes the abuser and it's very well written Lois while having it all as a child was neglected and ignored and now that she's grown up she still has all those feelings with her from her childhood so they take it out on meg or anyone else who Lois decides isn't good enough that day
