To add, kitty can also have executive dysfunction. This makes it so kitty can be actively aware kitty needs to be doing something and kitty knows that not doing that thing will cause kitty problems and so kitty actively wants to do it. However, kittys brain also refuses to let kitty start the thing. So kitty just sits there trapped, thinking all day how they should be doing thing but unable to do thing.

to all the freaks saying “self diagnosing doesn’t mean you have adhd” yes it could mean that, i wouldn’t have gotten my medical diagnosis if i didn’t question if i had it and self diagnose because of these videos first 👍

The science behind ADHD is actually kinda sad. Those with ADHD have faulty or inadequate amount of dopamine receptors, we are constantly chasing dopamine to feel somewhat normal. We have short attention and lose interest quickly when we lose too much dopamine. Lack of dopamine for long periods of time can also cause Parkinson's disease, restless legs syndrome, depression, schizophrenia, etc. It’s not cute or all fun and games if you think about it.
