In that scene, Navia let out all her Pain that was inside her, Neuvillette just listened in silence as a show of respect, saying just "Im sorry Miss Navia" there wasnt enough words to calm Navia's Pain but inside him was crying and the Rain was prove of that. What a beautiful and powerful scene.

Neuvillette didn’t save Navia’s father because he was proven GUILTY at that time. Plus, he wanted to die in the duel, so he took the opportunity and told it to Clorinde. It’s neither Neuvillette’s fault, nor Clorinde’s, nor Navia’s, nor Callas’, but the one who orchestrated the murder and made Callas guilty (I think it’s Vacher?). Navia surely was angry after Neuvillette and Clorinde, because it’s her father after all, but they didn’t know Callas was innocent, it couldn’t be proved.

Only if people knew the amount of weight that he had on his shoulders, during every trial, during every duel, during everything, and yet while yes Navia has the right to be upset and be angry, Neuvillette had no choice because her father choose it for himself, no one made him or anything, all Neuvillette can do is allow it, he cannot intervene, even Navia’s father knew what he was getting into, yes while the law system in Fontaine is flawed, the law is the law and no one can do anything about it, everyone has their own opinions on this matter and that is fully okay, yet in my honest opinion, no one is at fault, the trial happened and the outcome was very unfair, but we shouldn’t just blame people for doing their job, Neuvillette can’t stick his head out from him because then he would have to do it for others, the dualist couldn’t just deny the request cause it’s her job, and her father decided, all Neuvillette could do was say okay

I cried so hard there for both Navia and Neuvillette, I felt so bad because Navia lost her father due to Neuvillette's decisions. But it wasn't Neuvillette's fault 😭 (IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN THIS AA). At this moment if I remember correctly, he was struggling to understand humans and their emotions, and how they work (I believe he still is, but now he has more knowledge thanks to the traveler and his friends.). I think Neuvillette didn't understood the true meaning behind having someone dear to you leave/die until that moment where Navia "scolded" him. I love both their stories so much and I love Fontaine on general but that scene still makes me emotional ☹️. (SORRY IF IT'S TOO MUCH TEXT, I JUST LOVE TALKING ABOUT NEUVILLETTE 😭😭)
